Wax Museum Presentation For this project you will “become” a famous person who was connected to the Revolutionary War. On the day of the presentation, you will be dressed as the person, give a speech as the person, and display artifacts that represent the person. Steps to “becoming” your famous Revolutionary War person Due Dates □ January 22nd □ □ Step 1: Choose a person famous during the Revolutionary War Step 2: Find out all about this person from books, Internet articles, encyclopedia entries, and periodicals. February 18th Step 3: Answer as many of the questions from the research sheet as you can February 18th □ Step 4: Arrange the answers to your questions into a speech. □ Step 5: Peer presentation and critique in class. □ Step 6: Make changes to your speech if necessary. February 24th □ Step 7: Complete presentation note cards. However, students will need to practice their speeches and prepare their costumes and artifacts at home. Closer to the due date, we will discuss artifacts with students and, if needed, will help provide materials to make them.
