Standardization of apparatus, equipment and supplies is critical to the successful deployment of resources for the control and mitigation of fire, rescue and medical incidents, as well as the safety of the crew. Scope a. This policy applies to all pumper (non-tender) apparatus utilized for initial fire attack. Policy a. Our objective is to ensure that all fire apparatus are equipped and supplied the same in accordance with NFPA 1901 2003 Edition regardless of the service area.
