China Brochure Project
Due: 3/25/13
Imagine being able to travel to back in time to Ancient China. You will be working
with a group to create a brochure for people who are interested in traveling to Ancient
China (if there were time machines)! Your brochure must be informing the reader
about the various aspects of Ancient China! Make it interesting, colorful, and most
importantly, informative!
You may choose your own groups. There will be three people per group (some groups
may have four people). Each person in your group will be graded at the end of the
project and that will be a part of your grade.
The following information should be included on the brochure to make sure that you
have well informed travelers: (Each person should have 2 categories if you have 3
people in your group)

Geography- Inform the reader about the geography in the area and what they
might need to pack/know what to expect about the climate and region of
China

Family Ties- Describe to the reader what they can expect about the importance
of family in China and who the Chinese lived with

Dynasties- Give the reader an overview of the different dynasties of China so
that they can decide which Dynasty they would like to travel to!


what spread along the trade route

Confucius- Describe to the reader who Confucius was, what his beliefs were, and
how he influenced Ancient China
