The YOUTH EYE™ COMPLEX’s Key ingredients
The YOUTH EYE™ COMPLEX’s intelligent peptides and proteins, primarily
Pseudoalteromonas Ferment Extract (a glycoprotein from the Antarctic Sea),
hydrolysed wheat proteins and hydrolysed soy proteins, are clinically proven
to target damaged skin areas for regeneration. The extract encourages collagen
synthesis and protects collagen via matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) effects,
strengthening the skin to reduce puffiness. Meanwhile, the hydrolysed wheat
proteins and hydrolysed soy proteins boost collagen synthesis, standardise
fibril (tiny molecular fibre) diameter and spacing, and inhibit the destruction of
enzymes.
Glycosaminoglycans (a type of sugar derived from red marine algae), helps
strengthen skin by triggering the collagen replenishment cycle, helping to create
healthy cells. Collagen is responsible for skin strength and elasticity, and its
degradation leads to wrinkles that accompany aging. The presence of healthy
and plentiful collagen molecules increases skin firmness, elasticity and
resistance to stress and bagging.
The proprietary Copper Tripeptide-1 HGF Growth Factor is a small peptide
chain that encourages and directs cell maturation and development. It promotes
the healing of wrinkles and stretch marks, and healthy skin cell growth.
Acetyl Octapeptide-3 reduces the depth of wrinkles caused by muscle
contractions associated with facial expressions by intercepting neuromuscular
transmission.
Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate (licorice root extract) is an antioxidant that
possesses anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant and wound healing properties, soothing
the skin at all times.
Hyaluronic acid microspheres attract and bind the skin’s natural moisture in
the epidermis. They act like tiny sponges to increase cellular hydration,
absorbing and expanding, and filling in wrinkles. Botanically derived, the acid has
the ability to attract and bind up to 1800 times its molecular weight in water.
The YOUTH EYE™ COMPLEX’s proprietary blend of potent botanical
antioxidants, including Vitamins A, C, E, B5 and Centella Asiatica extract
(pegaga in Malay), protect and encourage cellular integrity, collagen synthesis
and improved cellular health. The pro-vitamins are necessary for healthy skin
metabolic function and help lessen dark under-eye circles, while the Centella
Asiatica extract (containing Asiaticoside, Asiatic acid and Madecassic acid) is a
potent antioxidant that stimulates collagen synthesis and improves micro
