Perrilloux, on November 29, 2011, Judge Bruce Bennett sentenced Fredrick Conley, 27, of Independence, LA to 10 years with the Department of Corrections for Armed Robbery. Assistant District Attorney Jeff Johnson prosecuted the case. On September 21, 2010, Conley was an accomplice in the robbery of Joe’s Hill Top in Independence, LA, along with Antonio Holden, 20, of Pine Grove, LA. Holden was convicted of the crime in October 2011. Wearing ski masks, the men entered the store, armed with pistols, and demanded the cashier give them all the money in the store. The defendant and his accomplices then fled the scene in an older model, gray, Lincoln town car. A witness driving by saw this and briefly followed the vehicle, obtaining the temporary license plate number. Witnesses reported the robbery to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s office. Through further investigation, security footage, and witness interviews, police were able to locate the defendant. Conley, of 58140 Bickham Chapel Road, must serve his entire sentence without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence, Perrilloux said.
