The Assignment
The purpose of this assignment is to introduce students to group work and the process of
research based on secondary sources. The findings along with the theoretical concepts are
to be applied by the group members via team work. Any lack of participation or conflict within
the group should be resolved by the group members.
The questions given below require you to apply the theory to two cases from your textbook:
“Stores and More” (p 152-153) and “Leading the Harvest” (p 313-314 of your textbook). In
addition you are required to visit the websites of the two organisations in the case studies,
(The Westfield Group and Ozharvest) to obtain more specific information to be able to
answer the questions. You can also research for more information from other Internet
sources, business magazines such as Fortune, Forbes, Business Week, NZ Business,
Marketing Magazine and NZ Herald Business Section.
Ensure that your submission has in text citations and a reference list using the correct
APA style of acknowledgment as discussed in class.
