“Balciunu” pig complex on sale, which is situated in Vilkaviskio district,
Pilviskiu ward, Balciunu village. Economic activity carried out on the 47.17 hectares
ground. Complex time 20 000 pigs (complex on sale without pigs). By IPPC
permission complex capacity is 4500 AU ( animal units).
There is a broad stables reconstructed, equipped with concrete and plastic floors,
under the floor is equipped manure accumulating reservoirs. There is forced
ventilation on side walls. Liquid feed mixture preparation and distribution, fully
automated EU production “Mayer” system is used at the complex.
There is pig feed producing factory with all the necessary authorization to make
the production of complete feeding stuffs and supply the market. Also there is grain
storage for 5000 – 6000 tones. The total area of the buildings consist of 40 000 m².
Manure accumulation in open lagoons, which size and installation comply with
applicable laws. Complex subject is 80 places the semen station which meeting EU
requirements is isolated from the main farm. Water supplied from 4 own drilling
arteriosus for animal watering and feed preparation.
There are made contracts with land users for liquid manure spreading. At the
moment complex disposes 2000 hectares of fields. Liquid manure is transported and
spread on fertilizing fields by “Agrometer” company intestinal scanning “Pioneer”.
