Applications of Gas Chromatographs:
The GC can be used in forensic settings to analyze body fluids for blood, to compose
testing of fibers and blood evidence, and to detect residue of explosives. Another use of the GC
is the analysis of food. The GC analyzes the composition of foods to determine if there are any
additives, contaminants, or drugs present.
