Are we preparing our students for effective interprofessional collaborative practice? IP – now mandated at McMaster – PIPER 2000 students – at 3 sites – 2 separate frameworks – how to combine - - 3 component to the IPE assignments - mandatory readings - Engage in IPC - Scholarly paper Accepted by Journal of Nursing Education Level 4 PBL – 2nd term – (540 nurses) – noticing, doing and responding IPE – students learning in a safe, comfortable environment MAC – no difference in subscales 1 Difference in baseline scores Data collection – took anyone they could get Reality based Next Meeting January 9th, 2011 HSC 1J10 1:00 – 2:00 2
