Kiddikins A Kindergarten Tool in Fiji
Quest Leisure Ltd. is pleased to join the Matainoco Kindergarten project in Matainoco Village, near
Nausori, Fiji. QL Director, Kim Kirk, has offered the Matainoco Kindergarten a complimentary
Kiddikins Move & Learn kit to supplement their kindergarten program. Project administrators plan to
open the kindergarten in 2010! The Quest team looks forward to hearing how Kiddikins educational
movement games are being played in the warm Fijian sands!
Quest Visits OLCG Preschool
Quest Leisure Ltd. was pleased to visit the Our Lady of Good Counsel Preschool (OLGC) in mid
February. OLCG administration requested a Kiddikins visit and game demonstration. Kim, of the
Quest team, was pleased to offer a 40 minute Kiddikins educational game demonstration to kids
and instructors in attendance! The program details were also shared and discussed with school
administration. The Kiddikins promotional dvd was also viewed.
Depending on your location, a member from the Quest Leisure team will gladly visit your centre to
demonstrate Kiddikins games with your kids, discuss program details, and give feedback on how
Kiddikins could best be used at your individual centre.
Demonstrations are complimentary for centres located within a 90 minute drive from the Quest
office (Mission BC). For centres located more than 90 minutes away, a fee may be charged –
contact Quest Leisure Ltd. for more details.

Happy Birthday Em & Jay
Special birthday wishes are sent to Kiddikins kids, Em and Jay. Em celebrates her birthday on April 10
and Jay celebrates his birthday on May 5 th. The Kiddikins kids are made up of five colorful cat
characters each with their own distinct personality. The Kiddikins kids are featured in creative
activities and in the upcoming Kiddikins book series. To learn more about each Kiddikins kid, visit the

Kiddikins Interest List Available
Live in a community that does not offer a Kiddikins based program? Call or email and have your name
added to the list! Quest Leisure Ltd. is pleased to collect names of parents interested in a Kiddikins based
program. If you are interested in having a Kiddikins based program offered in your area, call or email
Quest Leisure Ltd. and your name and number will be added to the Kiddikins Provincial Interest List. If a
Kiddikins based program opens in your area, Quest Leisure Ltd. will contact you regarding contact
information for the Kiddikins based centre.
Note: Personal contact information of parents is confidential to Quest Leisure Ltd. and would not be given to a
Kiddikins based centre directly or to any other party. Parents are not committed to register for a Kiddikins based
program if on an Interest List, however it is encouraging for prospective program instructors or centres to know that
there are people in the area who are ‘interested’.
KiddikinsBased Programs Have Financial
Growth Potential
Kiddikins based programs have the potential to grow physically and financially.
One Kiddikins based program has grown from one class to five classes with names on
an interest list 5 years in advance! Initial start-up equipment costs for a Kiddikins
based program are very minimal (> $1500). The more costly items, the Kiddikins
kit, a certified first aid kit, small class refrigerator, project staples (scissors, stapler,
bins etc.) and activities for ‘centres time’ can all be used year after year.
Kiddikins
creative projects supplies are required each year, but projects are designed using a
small amount of supplies that are typically readily available at low cost in most
communities.
