WATERCOLOUR and OTHER MEDIUMS Maureen HAMILTON 01707 872611 I have started the new art group which is mainly water colours, but which I hope to develop so that other mediums; oil, acrylic, pastel and pen and ink, can become part of the class. I run two classes per month on the second and fourth week and the class is beginning to grow. I coach and give a demonstration at times so if there is anybody out there who has secret desires to put brush to paper, please give me a ring - I have the rent to pay! Most of the people in the class are beginners. I am thinking of making up a party of people who would be interested in meeting up to do some outside sketching at some desirable location during the summer. So if anyone is interested, please let me know. We meet from10.30/12.00noon, in the Garden room, Wolsey Hall, every 2nd and 4th Wednesday monthly. BARRIES FINANCIAL FORUM I recently applied on line for renewal of my E111, the European Health Insurance Card. I was aware of bogus websites that charge for this service which is FREE. I therefore took care and chose a website with .ORG in the title. I realised I had been deceived when a demand for payment appeared. This same scam operates on a number of sites such as Car tax renewals, Income tax etc. The moral of the story is to be very careful when going on line to official sites.
