Professional Training Programmes in Educational Psychology EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY ADVISORY COMMITTEE The British Psychological Service guidelines on the evaluation of initial training courses say: "the course should have an Advisory Committee to advise on all aspects of the course which the course tutor should chair; on which trainees, educational psychologists from the region and academic staff are represented. It should meet regularly and at least once a year". (BPS, 1994. Para 2,9) UCL Concept The Advisory Committee should provide a forum for communication between representatives of our customers and representatives of the course team.
