Development of algorithm – requires a lot of research as well. Automatic splitting of an image and then allow manual tweaks. If we can get it working at least 20% of the time then that's a decent job 2. WPF- utilize this technology for future versions of the products and possibly all future kiosks Example- table and shelf where you pull images off the shelf and lay them out on a table. 20 We have a choice WPF or Silverlight although it seems like they are leaning towards WPF. WPF has capabilities to provide iPhone like features. ASSIGNMENT: Download and try out Microsoft Expression Blend Version 2 found here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=5FF08106B9F4-43CD-ABAD-4CC9D9C208D7&displaylang=en The Image Splitters Page 2 Meeting Minutes December 2, 2008 Target market currently is people from 25-55 generally married and has kids and more women than men (soccer moms). Further clarifications: Algorithm – not after amazing image quality improvements etc. How well can it split is across the panes A good start: 2 panes with image split Apply general logic maybe split image in half Must always allow configuration of the image by the user (zooming, cropping, etc.) Application- 5:30 15 Test application a proof of concept as a means to use the algorithm and show off how it works. Used for unit tests rather than a full fledged application. Resources: open cv- ideas for the design of the algorithm. Download Link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/opencvlibrary/ A professor that we will be given contact information about. 5:45 5:55 Proof of concept application possibly doing some innovative 3D effects to help move them into the next generation of graphics. Tuesday meetings with the client every other Tuesday. We will start off with more meetings initially and then reduce as necessary. Any questions, things needing review, or sign off etc must be emailed The Image Splitters 10 5 Page 3 Meeting Minutes December 2, 2008 to the clients 48 hours before the next meeting.
