The Institute is a research, advisory and educational public organization.
Its principal functions are R&D in a field of industrial, medicinal and aromatic plants as well as the research work within the projects in agriculture (breeding, nutrition, diseases and pests prognosis, application of chemical solutions), environment, preservation of the countryside and information management in agribusiness.
