Both elements must be evident. Formatting instructions To add an extra child table in the ‘Child referred’ section or person table in the ‘Other relevant persons’ or ‘Alleged maltreater’ sections [You can copy and paste a blank table or a table that already has text entered in fields] 1. Open the referral form in Microsoft Word 2. Remove the protection on the form by clicking on the padlock symbol [ ] in the Forms Tools. 3. If you don’t have the Forms Tools in your toolbar click on the ‘View’ folder at the top of the screen and select ‘Toolbars’. Click on ‘Forms’. This set of tools should appear in your toolbar. 4. Once you have removed the form’s protection, select the table that you wish to copy. You can select a whole table by moving the curser to the top of the table. When your curser changes to a thick black arrow [] please the left mouse key. The whole table should be shaded black. 5. To copy the table once it is selected, press Ctrl + c at the same time or press the copy symbol in the toolbar. 6. Move your curser to the place where you wish to locate the extra table. 7. Paste the table in by pressing Ctrl + v at the same time or press the paste symbol in the toolbar. 8. If you have copied one table to create an additional child or person, ensure that you change the label on the table eg from Child 2 to Child 4. 9. Once you have finished copying and pasting, you will need to re-protect the form so that all the automatic functions within some fields can work appropriately. To re-protect the form, click on the padlock symbol [] in the Forms Tools. 10. Save the form by pressing Ctrl + s at the same time or press the save symbol in the toolbar.
