This information includes recall notices relating to child safety (toys and / or
products which may affect children in your care). These newsletters will be
sent out regularly and are intended to alert your services to the numerous
recalls which occur. Please check the website for further recall notices relating

Bumbo Baby Seat - safety notice
The following notice has been issued by the retailer:
On August 15, 2012 Bumbo International Trust undertook voluntary action in
the U.S. and Canada to add a restraint belt and new warnings to the Bumbo®
Baby Seat.
Infants can manoeuvre out of or fall from the seat, posing a risk of injuries.
Working closely with the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) in
the U.S., Bumbo has determined that the potential safety issue can be readily
corrected in the home by adding a restraint belt to help prevent children from
getting out or falling from the seat when it is used as intended (on the floor
with adult supervision and never on raised surfaces). In addition Bumbo is
providing a new warning sticker for consumers to attach to the seat to reemphasize existing warnings against use of the seat on any raised surfaces.
TOMY are the authorised distributors of the Bumbo Baby Seat in the UK and
are offering the same remedy to all UK customers on behalf of Bumbo.
TOMY will send you a kit which includes a belt with a new warning sticker,
installation instructions, proper use instructions and a new warning sticker.
There is no need for you to return the Bumbo Baby Seat.

Griptight brand standard silicone decorated soothers - recall
The following notice has been issed by the importer:
Creative Max is taking the measure of recalling the above product which has
been on sale since 19 January 2012.
The teat can become detached from the soother in certain circumstances,
posing a potential choking hazard to the user. There is a potential for there
to be a tear in the teat and this would be apparent in pre-checks carried out
before use.
No other products are affected by this recall.
What should you do
Take this product away from your baby. Return to the store or return directly
to Creative Max Ltd and a full refund will be given.

Further to direct communications notifying customers who have purchased the
affected batch, customers should be aware that a problem has been identified
with part of one batch of the above product. It does not meet the required
microbiological standard and may be unsafe to consume.

2013.

The following notice has been issued by the retailer:

The Range is aware of a component and construction issue which
affects batches of the following Table and Floor lamps.
Please STOP USING the product immediately and identify whether
your purchase is subject to this recall.
To check if your product is affected you will need to look at both the plug
markings and then the SKU number (the product specific code – please see
product listing) The SKU number can be found printed on the silver rating
label on the underside of the table or floor lamp.


Does your plug have a plastic top pin?

Does your plug have the code PAS0003/A:1994?

Is your product SKU listed on the SKU Listing?
If you have answered YES to ALL 4 points above your item IS subject to the
recall.
If you answered NO to 1 or more of the above points your item IS NOT
subject to the recall.
If you purchased this product from a Range store and yours is affected, simply
return it to your local store along with your proof of purchase for a full refund.
If you are unable to locate your proof of purchase a refund will be issued via
store credit.
The plug can be black or white in colour and bears the number
PAS003/A:1994
A logo of a lightning bolt or blank circle will be in the top left hand corner as
you look at the plug
Please Note: No plugs which have a metal earth pin (the larger pin in the
centre at the top of the plug) are affected by the recall. ONLY plugs with ALL
of the features described above are not legitimate manufacturers plugs. If you
have a plug which has a logo of a lightning bolt as described above but does
not also bear the number PAS0003/A:1994 or if you have a plug which has a
logo of the lightning bolt as described and which has a metal earth pin these
are NOT examples of the illegitimate plug which are subject to the recall.

It has come to our attention that a purchased connector component has been
supplied to us which is not to our specification and that this component has
been fitted to 1800 White Knight Condenser dryers built in Oct 2010. We
believe that the use of this connector can potentially lead to overheating of the
appliance and if left unresolved could create a potential fire hazard over time.
We wish to find all of the affected dryers which lie within the serial numbers
below, and replace them free of charge in order to eliminate the risk.
HOW TO CHECK IF YOUR DRYER IS AFFECTED
We are trying to identify the location of these machines in order to remove the
potential risk associated with this connector. First, please check if you have
one of the models listed above, and if so, please check whether your
appliance has a serial number from the following list of potentially affected
batches (the model and serial number can be found inside the door of your
dryer as shown in the diagram).
