The Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family: The Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family, built between 1890 and 1894 during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, is the largest, best preserved, and best decorated ancient architecture existing in Guangdong province. Mar 22 Cong Hua: Hot Spring Cong Hua Hot Spring: The Conghua Hot Spring Scenic Area was originally built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is a nationally renowned tourist attraction and health resort. The hot sp ring area is divided into the east district and the west district with hotels and condominiums providing accommodations for guests. The warm water bubbles to the surface at 12 different springs; it is clear and enriched in more than 10 kinds of minerals like calcium, magnesium, and sodium. The temperature of the springs ranges from 30 to 71 with an average of 60 degrees centigrade. The area enjoys the advantage of a beautiful natural environment and tranquil rural scenery, with fresh air, green mountains, meandering streams, and old landmarks like Bi Lang Bridge, Di Cui Pavilion and Tao Ran Hall. Furthermore, Conghua is known as the "hometown of the lychee", and in mid-summer you can enjoy some of the best-tasting lychees while bathing in the hot spring water. Mar 23-26 Gui Lin: Li River Cruise/Yangshuo/Reed Flute Cave/Fubo Hill Park/Elephant Trunk Hill/Ling Canal/Merryland Li River Cruise & Yangshuo: The Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo is the centerpiece of any trip to the northeastern Guangxi Province. During the about 4.5 hours cruise, you will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank. Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo. Reed Flute Cave: Known as "the Palace of Natural Arts" where you can see beautiful stalactites & stalagmites, learn how they are formed. Fubo Hill Park: You can see lots of rock stone carvings & Buddha statues since Tang Dynasty. Have a wonderful bird's-eye view of Guilin city if you climb to the summit. Elephant Trunk Hill: Located at the conjunction of the Li River & the Peach Blossom River, the whole hill looks very much like a giant elephant with a long trunk, it is the symbol of Guilin city. Ling Canal: It was once an important means of transports connecting Yangtze River system in Qin Dynasty before railways and roads were constructed. Now this canal still serves its purposes by irrigating about 2700 hectare of agricultural lands. Merryland Theme Park: It covers 90 hectares with five sections of theme park: Merry town, American Wild West, Dream World, Pirate Village, South Pacific area and Forest area.
