SSC-CD49P MiniDome Color Camera with DynaView™ Technology
PART 2 – PRODUCTS
2.01 CCTV CAMERA SPECIFICATIONS
A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. The SSC-CD49P color camera shall utilize a high resolution 1/3 type Interline Transfer Type
CCD image sensor with Dynaview Technology. The camera shall produce 480 lines of
horizontal resolution. The camera shall require a minimum scene illumination of 0.7 lux at F1.3
or (50 IRE, AGC ON, Turbo ON);
2. Video connection for the SSC-CD49P camera shall be via a pigtail with a “BNC” Connector.
3. The camera shall have AGC gain of 24dB. The AGC shall be dip switch ON/OFF selectable.
4. The SSC-CD49P shall utilize Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to provide high stability
and reliability.
5. SSC-CD49P shall have an integral 3.6x (2.8 to 10mm) F1.3 – F3.0, IR compensated DC
auto-iris type vari-focal lens.
6. A secondary video output shall be located on the main camera body, to allow for easy
adjustment of the field of view and focus. The secondary video output shall be via a phono
(RCA) connector.
7. The camera shall employ the DynaView wide dynamic range technology. Dynamic range shall
be 52dB.
B. OPTICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. The SSC-CD49P shall incorporate an integrated, DC type auto-iris, 2.8 to 10mm Vari-focal
lens. Maximum aperture shall be F1.3
2. The minimum object distance shall be 0.3m (0.97ft).
3. A level adjustment potentiometer shall be available to adjust the iris for optimum exposure.
4. The optical system shall permit the camera to cover a large angle of view from 100.8° to
27.7° Horizontal.
5. The lens Zoom / Focus lever shall have a locking screw.
C. VIDEO - ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. The SSC-CD49P shall use an input voltage of either 12VDC ±10% or 24VAC ± 10% for power.
2. The power connection shall be by means of a 2 pin mating pressure fit screw terminals, to
connect to an external power supply of 12VDC or 24VAC.
3. The scanning system shall be 625 lines, 50 fields/25 frames, 2:1 interlace.
4. The SSC-CD49P signal system shall be PAL standard.
5. The camera shall employ Auto Tracing White (ATW) balance as well as ATW PRO modes.
6. The Auto Tracing White (ATW) balance range shall be 2,000 Kelvin to 10,000 Kelvin, and ATW
PRO shall be 2,500 Kelvin to 6,500 Kelvin. The ATW-Pro balance shall automatically adjust
between the ranges of 2,500 K to 6,000 K.
7. Camera synchronization shall be dip switch selectable Internal or External AC (50Hz) line lock,
with vertical phase adjustment capability of ± 90°.
8. The camera shall automatically switch to internal sync mode when 12VDC is applied,
regardless of the sync mode setting.
9. The SSC-CD49P composite video output shall be 1.0V peak-to-peak @ 75 ohms, sync
negative via the pigtail BNC connector.
10. The signal to noise ratio shall be more than 50dB (AGC OFF, Weight ON).
11. The SSC-CD49P shall employ dual white balance capability on DynaView mode, to achieve
proper color balance between high light and low lit areas.
12. Easy camera set-up shall be done by the means of DIP Switches as well as two
potentiometers, one to compensate for video level and the other for Vertical Phase adjustment.
13. The SSC-CD49P backlight compensation shall mean activating DynaView function.
14. The SSC-CD49P power consumption shall be 4.2 watts.
D. MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. The lens shall have lock down lever screws for both Zoom and Focus.
2. The integrated lens (2.8 – 10mm auto iris vari-focal lens)/CCD assembly shall be a ball joint
type for easy pan, tilt and rotation adjustments, without need for special tools. This ball joint
mechanism shall be capable of being locked in place with the lock screw on the base of the
ball joint mechanism.
3. The camera shall come with a slotted, plastic black insert, installed onto the main camera
section, such that the lens will only be visible when viewed through that slot.
4. The lower dome shall attach to the main body using a slotted twist lock mechanism. There
shall be a captive lockdown screw to avoid tampering.
5. The CCD/Lens body shall be capable of being rotated, and secured via lock down screws.
6. Dimensions of the camera shall be 126mm (5 inch) diameter, by 97.5mm (3 7/8 inch) height.
7. The camera shall weigh approximately 440 g (16 oz).
E. ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. The operating temperature shall be -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to +50°C).
2. The operating humidity shall be 20% to 80% non-condensing.
3. Storage temperature must not be less than -40°F or greater than 140°F (-40°C to +60°C).
4. Storage humidity shall be 20% to 95% non-condensing.
