Team is responsible for developing and verifying an automated IVD system for processing Immunoassays and Clinical Chemistry assays. Responsibilities: Execute software development life cycle activities, from requirements development to verification. Develop user interface and business rules for a data management and system control application. Facilitate support for fault isolation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities during system integration and validation testing. Minimum of six years professional experience covering the entire software lifecycle (requirements definition through verification). Requires extensive experience in Microsoft Visual C++ with emphasis in object-oriented analysis and design. Experience with ShlaerMellor or UML formal object oriented design notation is a must. Experience with OOA/OOD CASE tools (e.g. Rational Rose, Objectbench, Rhapsody). Experience with Active X, MFC, COM/DCOM is preferred. Experience with SQL databases and .NET Technologies. Experience with automated testing tools (Segue SilkTest, WinRunner) a plus. Must be self-driven and able to work independently. Entry-level Software Engineer This is an entry level position for a software engineer with knowledge of the entire software lifecycle (requirements definition through verification). Candidate must have interest in developing computer-controlled instrumentation, such as medical diagnostics equipment, and have good knowledge of Microsoft Visual C++ with emphasis in object-oriented analysis and design. Academic experience with Shlaer-Mellor or UML formal object oriented design notation is a must (OOA/OOD CASE tools, such as Rational Rose, Objectbench or Rhapsody). Understanding of Active X, MFC, COM/DCOM is preferred, as well as SQL databases and .NET Technologies. Some exposure to automated testing tools (Segue SilkTest, WinRunner) a plus.
