1. Write a sentence using each word correctly. Use the dictionary if you are unsure of the meaning of the word. Remember to use
punctuation and capitalization.
2. ABC Order: Write each of your spelling words 3x in ABC order!
3. ZYX Order: Write each of your spelling words 3x in ZYX order!
4. Code Words: Come up with a code for each letter of the alphabet. Write down your code.

Then write your spelling words in code.
You must write the actual spelling word next to the “code word.”
5. Part of Speech: Write each spelling word 1x and label each word with the appropriate part of speech.
6. Pyramid Write: Do a “Pyramid write” for each of your spelling words. You must write neatly!
