the Ministry of agriculture and Cooperatives (25 March BE. 2547 (2004): Designation of names,
types, categories or characteristics of animal feed originating from the countries with incidences
of or suspected of having forbidden animal disease where the import for sale is prohibited
(available in Thai, 1 page).
Description of content: To prevent the spread of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy into the
country which will severely affect the livestock industries of Thailand, therefore animal feed with
meat meal, bone meal, blood meal or any other meal of ruminant origin as ingredients originating
from the countries with incidences of or suspected of having Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy
are prohibited to import for sale.
