Record.
Mark McCauley – former BBC Television cameraman now working as a freelancer. Mark is
form Derry and has travelled the world documenting various conflicts.
Charlie Bird – former Chief News Correspondent with RTÉ News.

Mariane Pearl and Andrew Eaton – Mariane is a freelance journalist and Andrew is a film

This will be an interview-style session with Brandon Hamber (INCORE) (TBC) speaking to

These teachers will give first hand examples of their international partnership and work
done through the TDH project.

Panel Discussion – International perspectives on how the teaching of history is approached
in other post-conflict or divided societies.

Samya Abou Hamad – Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Lebanon.

We will first hear a 5 minute overview from each participant on how they have approached
the teaching of contested histories. The following panel session will then be chaired by Jo
Beall, including questions from the floor.
