Subjecting You to Unconventional Subjects
In this exercise you will follow library conventions to assign appropriate subjects and subdivisions.
Using the attached LCSH worksheet, assign main subject headings for the following:
1) Encyclopedia of mules and horses
2. Encyclopedia of horses, donkeys, and mules
3. Horses, swine, and other four-legged farm animals
(Coverage: horses 30%, swine 30%, others 40%)
4. How to tell male and female livestock apart
5. Farm animals: a guide for chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys
