Reminders to Patients that have Cramping
Pain in Kidney
1. When patient is suffered with tremendous
amount of pain, it will induce occurrence
of following conditions, such as vomiting,
paling face, sweating, frequent urinating,
diarrhea, and uncomfortable feelings in
stomach.
2. In order to relieve pain, may apply
warm-water bath or put on wet hot pack
when in pain, or to inject pain killer at
hospital, or to inject large drops of liquid,
or to lay down for rest.
3. Should drink 3,000-4,000 cc of water
everyday, but may increase water intake
when the weather is hot, or when patient
has a fever or has diarrhea.
4. Must avoid staying solid in a place for too
long. If patient feels like going to
washroom, should not resist it, because
resisting urinating may cause concretion.
5. Must return to Urology Department
regularly for follow-up treatment.
