-Culture region- a area of the world in which many people share similar belief,
history, languages
The World Culture Regions
-not every person in a region belongs to the dominate culture
-Ex. U.S. and Canada
-language differences
-both countries have Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Muslims, and Buddhists
Culture Regions Change
-Culture regions barrow traits from one another
-Decisions and events affect different parts of the world
-Advances in transportation and communication increase interdependence
-Ex. - oil price rises in middle east it affects the world
-If large amount of bananas in Latin America prices fall-(Supply and Demand)
