AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
IMMOVABLE PROPERTY TOGETHER WITH IMPROVEMENTS THEREON,
INCLUDING A WAREHOUSE BUILDING, LOCATED IN SECTION 30,
TOWNSHIP 2 SOUTH, RANGE 11 EAST, WASHINGTON PARISH, LOUISIANA,
HAVING A MUNICIPAL ADDRESS OF 2185 GREENLAW AVENUE,
FRANKLINTON, LOUISIANA
WHEREAS, a certain parcel of land together with the improvements thereon, including
a concrete and steel warehouse measuring 60 feet by 80 feet (60’X80’) located on
Greenlaw Street in Franklinton, Louisiana, is available for purchase; and
WHEREAS, the Washington Parish Government is in need of storage facilities.
BE IT ORDAINED, that the Washington Parish Government authorizes the purchase of
a certain parcel of land being approximately 0.34 acres and 0.360 acres, more or less, as
per title, together with all improvements thereon, including a concrete and steel
warehouse located in Section 30, Township 1 South, Range 11 East, Washington Parish,
Louisiana, having a municipal address of 2185 Greenlaw Street in Franklinton, Louisiana.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the purchase price for the property shall be Fifty
Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($50,000.00) contingent upon the property appraising at or
above the sales price, and subject to the terms and conditions contained in an Agreement
to Purchase and Sell dated January 20, 2015.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is authorized to execute an act
of sale and all documents related thereto of the above referenced property in accordance
with the terms and conditions of the Agreement to Purchase and Sell.
The above and foregoing having been submitted to a vote, the vote
thereupon resulted as follows:

The ordinance was declared adopted on the 9th day of February, 2015.
