All students seeking a Minor in the Department must be registered with the Department of Languages, Linguistics, & Comparative Literature before beginning their last 8 credits of study. 3.) Minors are posted on the student’s transcript at the time of graduation. In order for the Registrar’s office to post the Minor, students must satisfy their Minor requirements and obtain signature from Minors’ Advisor. 4.) Students can earn up to 8 credit hours on a FAU study abroad program during one summer session in either Spain or Latin America. 5.) Please note that SPN 1120 and 1121 are prerequisites and do not count toward the Minor. 6.) Students pursuing a Minor in Spanish are eligible to become members of Sigma Delta Pi, the Spanish Honor Society.
