Only one team from a college consisting of two participants is allowed.

Rules:





An institute can send maximum two participants.
Maximum time limit is 5-7 minutes.

Computer and projector will be provided for power point slides and any other
requirements must be specified along with the entry.
Presentation should be in MS Powerpoint 2003/2007 version

Skill Test – C Language
Participants will be tested on their C programming skills.
Rules:
 An institute can send any number of participants.
 Duration of the test will be of 60 minutes.

The test will comprise of 50 objective type questions (each having 4 options)
No deduction from total score will, however, be made if no response is indicated for
question in answer sheet.
More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect response .
All objective type questions are required to be answered on specially designed machine
gradable answer sheets.
 Blue/ Black ball pen can be used for marking the answers.

Ad-Mad Show
In this show the team has to advertise in a comic manner.
Rules:








Institute/College can send only one team consisting of maximum 3 participants.
Team will be provided a product or brand through a Slip system at the Venue.
The team will be given 10 minutes to think about the enactment of the advertisement.
There is no language bar.
The team will perform the advertisement in 3 minutes.
Props are allowed.
The first bell will ring after 2 minutes during the enactment and the final bell will
ring after one minute of the first bell.
Teams should ensure that language used should not be vulgar /offensive/improper.

General Rules & Regulations
1. The institute reserves the right to cancel any event without any prior information.
2. Decision of the jury will be final and binding for all events.
3. Registration fee is Rs 100/- per participant per event. Lunch will be provided
to participants
4. College identity card must be produced at the time of registration.
5. Each entry must be forwarded by the respective Principal/Director/HOD or any
other competent authority.
6. No obscene/vulgar statement/gestures are tolerable under any circumstances and
will certainly lead to disqualification of the entire team.
7. Team must be accompanied by the authorized faculty/staff member of their
respective college/institution.
8. Any type of damage to the institute property in any form or any other indiscipline
in the institute is not tolerable and strict disciplinary action will be initiated
against the defaulter(s) as per the rules of the institute.
9. No TA/DA will be provided to the outside participants and the faculty
accompanying their respective teams.
10. Students are responsible for their projects and related accessories.
11. One participant can participate only in one event.
12. The events are open to all graduate and postgraduate students.
13. Participation certificates will be awarded to all the participants on the same day.
14. Teams incharges should collect participation certificates of the students from
registration desk before leaving the campus.
15. No change in any discipline/event will be entertained.
16. There will be no on the spot registration. Participants have to registered
online before 20th Jan 2012 at www.patelcollege.in/registration.aspx or end
the detail of on the email at pmnotek@patelcollege.in
