Summer School 2008 | Cuernavaca/MX 18.05.-31.05.2008 (Hotel Racquet, Cuernavaca) Tentative Program/Instructors/Schedule Participating students and instructors are expected to stay at the hotel during the course throughout, to guarantee optimal interaction. Once accepted, students will receive financial support to cover costs for accommodation, food, and travel. The summer school will include activities outside of the scientific program to introduce the participants and instructors to the culture of the two interacting countries, Mexico and Germany. Although the course language is ENGLISH, these activities aim to raise the interest to learn more about Mexico and Germany. Detailed information will be given about studying in Germany (Master and PhD programs, fellowships). Teaching material (handouts, CDs) will be distributed during the course. Students are expected to present a poster on their recent research, the best three posters will receive an award. German Instructors are coming from the University of Konstanz (Drs. PMH Kroneck & H Küpper) and the University of Göttingen (Drs. S Andrade & O Einsle). Mexican Instructors and Guest speakers are coming from UNAM (Drs. ME Sosa Torres, E Escamilla Marván & A Solano Peralta), CINVESTAV (Dr. L Quintanar Vera), UAEM Cuernavaca (Dr. H Höpfl), Universidad de Guanajuato (Dr. G. Mendoza Diaz). Saturday, 17.05.08.
