Weekly Newsletter – 21st November 2014
Dear Parents and Carers,
This week has been Anti Bullying Week. All classes have been involved in activities and we have been visited
by Rector Margaret and by PCSO Stephen Bridges. Today we have welcomed Master Wayne Baker from
SESMA Studios into Year 4 and 5. Master Wayne has been teaching the children about how to identify a bully
or bullying, how we can stop ourselves from being bullied, looking confident with our body language and eye
contact, showing confidence using the sound of our voice, name calling, being positive not negative, controlling
and coping with our emotions and how to protect ourselves. These workshops have been made possible by
funding from Broadland Council.
This week we have also completed our Pupil Questionnaires. As well as collecting all children’s views about
every aspect of school we have also asked them for up to three positives and up to three things that they
would like to improve. We will use this feedback carefully once we have collated it, and we will share the
findings and our action points with the children and will parents and carers too.
