Monogrammed Terry Cloth Towel Wrap
For the project, you will need:
 One cotton bath towel.
 One spool of ALL PURPOSE thread to match towel.
 27” of 1-1/4” wide non-roll elastic – can be purchased by the yard at Joann
Fabrics
 9” of SEW-IN Velcro- 1”
Supplies are needed by Feb.6
You do not have to purchase a new bath towel; you can bring in one that you have.
You will just have to purchase the All-Purpose Thread to match towel, Velcro and elastic,
If you choose to embellish the towel with ribbon – you will need to buy a spool of
Grosgrain ribbon (7/8” wide) and thread to match ribbon. Ribbon is often ½ off at
Hobby Lobby. Look for the sale. Hobby Lobby has a sale this week on Ribbon. You
can also purchase ribbon at Michael’s and Wal-Mart

I will purchase the elastic and Velcro through the school and the students can reimburse
the program by paying $1.50 for the elastic and the Velcro. Often the students do not
purchase the correct Velcro and elastic for the project.
