AN UP AND COMING FIRST CHURCH EVENT-The West Chester Railroad has continued to partner together to operate the BBQ Choo Choo. You will enjoy a train ride on a beautiful evening on Saturday, September 17, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and have a delicious BBQ dinner from one of the area’s best BBQ restaurants. Your train will depart Market Street station in West Chester and the BBQ will be held in the Glen Mills picnic grove right next to the Chester Creek. The menu includes Pig Out BBQ Pit’s specialties: Pulled Pork BBQ, Baby Back Ribs, Homemade sides, Pulled Chicken BBQ and Corn Dogs. The menu is subject to change without notice. There is limited seating at the picnic grove, so you may want to bring blankets, chairs, etc. Those items will be stored in one of the train’s cars. The price for this event is $20.00 and children can attend for $15.00. Tickets can be bought at the train, so there is no need to pay in advance. A group from First Church plans to attend, so please sign the sheet on the narthex desk, so we can figure out transportation. Thank you!
