A new collection of heterogeneous DLW vinyl flooring from Armstrong Low-maintenance vinyl flooring with a natural look Following the recent introduction of its new collection of homogenous DLW vinyl flooring, Armstrong now presents a fresh collection of heterogeneous DLW vinyl flooring. Inspired by nature, many of the patterns have an almost entirely authentic look. The flooring’s multi-layer construction makes it possible to create striking optical effects. Along with popular wood and stone motifs, the collection includes those of brushed steel and oxidized metal. DLW vinyl is a suitable solution wherever durable, resilient flooring is required that is easy to clean and maintain, yet natural in appearance – whether in a healthcare, academic, restaurant, hotel, office or retail setting. All heterogeneous DLW vinyl flooring from Armstrong is treated with PUR ECO SYSTEM, making it even more resistant to dirt, wear and scratching, while minimizing both maintenance effort and the consumption of cleaning agent and water. Timberline flooring depicts the timeless beauty of wood. It combines a deceptively authentic appearance with lowmaintenance characteristics. The spectrum of wood-like patterns ranges from traditional domestic species of trees to contemporary, very dark and very light woods, as well as more rustic varieties. Two new beech tones, a European cherry wood, a dark oak and a light maple have now been added to the palette. By contrast, the new rustic woods feature particularly robust patterns and pronounced embossments. Three oak tones of black, brown and white are among the selection of rustic wood motifs, as well as three pinewood patterns that range from cool grayish brown to warm dark brown. Also in the robust category are the new dark bamboo motifs. Perspectives flooring patterns are distinguished by their avantgarde look and refined tone-on-tone effects. Armstrong has responded to current architectural and design trends with its three new nuanced motifs – a slightly oxidized, dark iron tone, a smoky steel grey tone and an aged black tone with a used appearance. Handsome, modern spaces can be created with this robust and easy-to-clean flooring solution, particularly in office and retail environments. With its stone-chip appearance, Connection Corlon is reminiscent of a well-tended, fine gravel pathway. The palette is composed of eight tones, ranging from delicate porcelain white to limestone to dark anthracite. Its excellent R 10-grade slip resistance makes it ideal for high-traffic areas, particularly where there is a high risk of wet conditions. Armstrong has revamped the color spectrum of Contract Interior. With its non-directional, stone-chip pattern, this range of heterogeneous flooring offers 16 harmonious colors: four elegant tones of gray that transition to cool brown and beige tones, as well as intense, nuanced shades of blue, green, yellow and red. To perfectly complement high-traffic areas, as well as those areas where impact noise dampening is desired, Armstrong offers Contract Interior II Acoustic flooring in nine colors that may be suitably combined with Contract Interior. Featuring a special layer of foamed material, it provides noise dampening performance of 18 dB, as well as excellent walking comfort. The popular, marbleized pattern of Translations flooring is particularly resistant to staining. Warm beige and terra cotta tones as well as fascinatingly cool grays and blues are among the assortment’s 20 current colors. It may be ideally combined with its impact noise dampening variant, Translations II Acoustic in ten Translations colors. Here as well, a resilient foam backing ensures that impact noise is reduced to 19 dB. With its R 10 slipresistance rating, Translations II Acoustic flooring is also perfectly suited to areas where there is a high risk of wet conditions. Heterogeneous DLW vinyl flooring is available as meter goods in 200 cm width (Connection Corlon in 183 cm width), and meets all of a building’s flooring requirements. Due to the 1.35 mm thickness of its surface layer, Connection Corlon flooring is a perfect solution for very high-traffic areas. The flooring sheets may be welded together, resulting in an entirely seamless surface and eliminating any area vulnerable to bacteria and mold build-up. DLW vinyl is slip-resistant, flame resistant and, in the case of fire, self-extinguishing. Due to its quick and easy installation, it is also an ideal flooring solution for renovations or new shop and restaurant designs.
