Non-Fiction Book Project
DUE APRIL 29, 2009
In class, your child has been working on researching and writing a non-fiction book
on an animal of their choice. There will be an at-home portion to this project which
will be presented in class to both students and parents upon completion.

Choice #1: Puppet
We would like students to make the actual animal that they are researching. It
could be a puppet or made from any craft materials that you would like. This should
be 3-D. Be creative and use any materials that you would like. We will display these
in the classroom along with your child’s informational text!

Choice #2: Poster
Students can make a poster that has a drawing of their animal. Again, be creative
