Liaise with the fieldwork supervisor to ensure efficient use of internal fieldwork resources and assist in timely preparation of materials for interviewers’ packs. 2. Assist with the design, implementation and analysis of questionnaires, surveys and public involvement exercises to support decision making, gain community support and inform strategy and programme development. 3. Organise the efficient movement and secure storage of completed interviews and questionnaires to maintain data integrity and confidentiality. 4. When data is returned, assist in data entry and creation of datasets for its analysis. 5. Undertake data analysis, either using SPSS or by coding responses to open questions, generating meaningful results from the research. 6. Produce reports, graphs and conclusions as directed, including assisting with presentations to client sections, when necessary, to inform decisionmaking processes. 7. Provide cover for the Market Research Officers during holiday or sickness leave periods so that the section continues to function efficiently. 8. Any other duties commensurate with the post that the Market Research Manager may require. Planning and Organisation: Assist in the management of projects, identifying resource availability and timescales as directed by the Market Research Manager. Decision Making and Use of Judgement: Contribute to the team and section decision-making processes both informally and at formal team meetings. Make day-to-day decisions on operational matters within the team. Level of autonomy will be guided by the Market Research Manager. Essential Internal and External Relationships: Contribute to the effective functioning of the Planning and Research section. Liaise with clients and other organisations (such as Market Research agencies, data entry companies, Local Authorities, etc.) as necessary to ensure projects run smoothly and on time. Contribute to team working within the Market Research Section and liaise with others to continually improve cross-functional efficiency.
