Classroom Teaching: Responsible for teaching audiology courses to graduate
and undergraduate students. Course instruction includes Introduction to
Audiology, Medical Audiology, Peripheral Electrophysiologic Measurements
(OAE, ABR, ECochG, AMLR, Hearing Aids, Pediatric Audiology, and Aural
Rehabilitation).
 Clinical Teaching: Presently serving as Audiology clinic supervisor of the
UNCG Audiology Clinic. Responsible for supervising audiology graduate
clinicians in their audiology clinic rotations. Also provide supervision for
speech pathology graduate students in hearing screening procedures. Currently
working with the UNCG hearing aid dispensing program and the new Tinnitus
Retraining Therapy program in the Audiology Clinic.
 Principal Investigator: Learning to Hear Project.
Responsible for establishing and overseeing a three-year grant project funded to
provide Aural Rehabilitation services to needy hearing impaired children and
adults living in the Piedmont Triad. Services include speech reading, auditory
training, therapy for Central Auditory processing Disorder (CAPD), and aural
rehab workshops for hearing aid users.



Research: responsible for advising 2nd year audiology graduate students in
masters research projects. Involved in collaborative brainmapping research of
Auditory Middle Latency Responses (AMLR) with Brigham Young
University.
Service: Appointed fellow of the UNCG Cornelia Strong Residential College.
Also have served as CSD Department representative for SOAR advising
program for new freshman, transfer, and adult students.
