Clinical Competencies
Broad base of skills in analyzing and interpreting test results in the evaluation of communicative disorders.
Adult and pediatric behavioral diagnostics, otoacoustic emissions, auditory evoked potentials, and
electronystagmography. Evaluation, recommendation, and modification of appropriate hearing aid and
assistive listening devices. Ability to plan and conduct an aural rehabilitation program. Ability to
communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective relationships with individuals and groups in
evaluating and providing solutions based on needs.

Supervision Competencies
Facilitating the clinical instruction of AuD students at the University clinic that provides adult and pediatric services.
Ability to evaluate, provide effective feedback, recommendation, and modification based on individual skill sets and


