I have recently begun seeking an intentional career path. I desire to work within an environment
that rewards excellence with a senior leader who is a high performer. I have repeatedly
demonstrated value to my former organization, Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital (SBAMH)
through exemplary program development.
Due to the care my aged parents received and the very difficult decisions that were made, I
became passionate about the need to provide evidence-based, personal care within a continuing
care environment.
Although not a Registered Nurse, I have an extensive clinical background as a Registered
Respiratory Therapist and frequently have written comprehensive nursing administrative and
clinical policies, protocols and educational materials. I have led Nursing departments through
QAPI initiatives and led organizational change including cardiac, pulmonary, infection control,
safety and emergency preparedness. I am a Servant leader who coaches with confidence, high
expectations, common sense and enthusiasm.
My enclosed resume highlights a few of my top achievements. I have completed my AIT
internship at Wichita Presbyterian Manor this month and will take the NAB Exam in April.
Thank you in advance in reviewing my resume.
Sincerely,
Melissa L. Dinsmore
