Description
Costume Society of America recently initiated a new “Mentor” membership level. It provides for a
one-year student membership in addition to the individual membership. Mentors may designate a
student recipient and students may apply for the membership by completing the application.
Purpose
A Sponsored Student Membership Award provides eligible students with a one-year membership
in Costume Society of America.
Eligibility
1. A student in any Region who is enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university may be
designated the recipient by a mentor from any CSA Region
• A student in any Region who is enrolled at an accredited college or university may be
designated for a second 1-year membership by the same, or another mentor, when that
CSA member renews his/her subscription at the mentor level.
2. A student in any Region who is enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university may
apply for a Sponsored Student Membership.
• Accepted students will be added to a rolling list at CSA National office and be informed
when a mentor membership becomes available.
Application Procedure
• Download the two-page application from the CSA website
• Mail or Fax completed form and supporting material to CSA National office
• Students designated the recipient of a sponsored membership by a mentor will be notified by
email of the award
• Accepted students will be added to a rolling list and notified through email when a sponsored
membership becomes available
• Once notified of the award, students would have a week to confirm through email. If no
response is received within one week, students will receive a mailed notification of the award.
