Our interior deck coverings are new generation epoxy-urethane systems that combine
flexibility and fire retardant properties. They have excellent chemical and wearing
characteristic and are easy to clean and maintain. Our products are decorative and
functional, and provide longer service life than tiles, carpet and vinyl products.

Specialized Coatings
We are experts at matching coatings to the different flooring areas of the ship. We use the
latest technologies made specifically to withstand the rigors of ship decks both inside and
out. We can replace inferior systems that were either poorly installed or not correctly
surface matched.
Our systems are made to last the life of the ship, they won’t crack, peel off or come loose
from the steel deck. Any damage due to overuse or misuse can easily be repaired and
refinished.
Old decking materials allow the steel decks to rust, while epoxy paint, with the
movement of the steel, doesn’t last long. In wet areas, like outside decks, washrooms,
galleys and laundry rooms, water penetrates the cement based underlayment, which acts
as a sponge and this eventually leads to rust or corrosion of the decks.
Our materials are flexible and have an excellent adhesion to the steel decks. They won’t
crack or come loose and are both waterproof and rust proof.
Built to withstand the elements
For outside decks we use high solids polyurethane base coats, which have excellent
flexibility and are 100% waterproof. Unlike traditional deck materials, they provide
superior bond to steel decks, protects against corrosion and they provide acoustic and
thermal insulation.
Our urethane and epoxy based products, are flexible, waterproof and UV resistant. They
can be made antiskid or smooth and be custom decorated in many colors.
Innovative Flooring Solutions
Our competition still uses cement based underlayment products, which get covered with
tiles, paint, vinyl or carpet. Eventually the underlayment cracks due to the movement of
the steel deck. Often the top layer loosens cracks and buckles.
Our products are longer lasting, provide the comfort of a soft, rubber-like walking
surface, eliminate the transmission of noise and allow for faster turnover than
conventional systems.
