BIOGRAPHY: DONNA SEEBO
Donna Seebo’s life didn’t ever seem programmed to be normal. Born in Los
Angeles, California, even as a youngster, she always seemed to march to a different
drummer. What that drummer would beat out in rhythm in life’s particular form of
reality she had no clue about.
Who would have thought that a petite young woman, who had interests in music
and medicine, would end up as a professional broadcaster, minister, counselor, mental
practitioner, speaker and award winning author? She certainly didn’t. However, when
life hands you cherry pits instead of cherries you might find yourself following strange
turns in the road of life, seeking something better.
Donna eventually met Gloria, a mentor, who told her that her path in life would be
involved with providing insight, counsel and example for others. Little did she realize
that this prediction, along with her curiosity, would lead her into the world of dreams, the
paranormal, writing and publishing, and eventually the career of broadcasting that is so
much a part of her life today.
In 1980 Donna moved with her family to the Northwest. It was a dramatic change
that was to propel her forward, quite unexpectedly, into radio. She had had experience
with television and really enjoyed the medium. However, once she became involved
with radio a new passion was born that hasn’t diminished with the years. She was invited
to do shows throughout the Northwest demonstrating her intuitive skills, eventually doing
weekly programming with her own program and others throughout the country. One area
in particular, Alaska, was to evolve into a long term association that even now is just as
popular as when she first appeared on air in Anchorage, Alaska on October 8th of 1981.
Her love of writing also evolved through the years. She developed a monthly
newsletter for an employer while she was in California, and wrote stories for various
church publications. Then she wrote her own special stories and tucked them away for
future publication. One of those stories eventually was published, her award winning
children’s illustrated book and audio tape, “God’s Kiss”. Other publications, like “Mind
Magic” and “The Miracle of 8 Pennies” evolved and have been popular too. Then there
is her monthly newsletter, published for many years, that is archived here on her website
for people to read whenever they like.
Today, Donna Seebo is involved with many people from all walks of life, who
share their stories, experiences and wisdom with her listeners on “The Donna Seebo
Show”. Encouraged by many experienced media specialists since 1977, she finally took
the plunge of doing a daily talk show in April, 2002. Her format was and still is
‘personal empowerment’. The show continues to be a big success. Currently her program
is featured on KKNW 1150AM and is heard by people all over the world via the Internet.
What else is on the agenda for Donna Seebo? Who knows? You’ll just have to
