A physical activity group for children aged 2-5 and their parents/carers.
Childminders group Mondays Term Time Only
A play session for childminders and children under 5 years.
BAMBI Every Monday
Meet other mums with babies under 6 months and mums to be and find out everything you need to know about breast feeding.
NEW Forest school stay & play Every Tuesday
Meet at Wicklea Youth Centre carpark for fun in the forest with your child (don’t forget waterproofs and wellies!)
Ante-natal and Post-natal classes Every Tuesday
The courses run on a six week cycle. Lead by trained midwifes, physiotherapists and health workers, it is very useful leading
up to giving birth and just after. It is also a great place to meet other parents. For further information and if you want to
join please contact the Health Visitors at Brooklea Health Centre 0117 3304248
Chatter babe Every Tuesday Term time only
A baby signing course that you can join for a 6 week cycle. Places are limited and have a cost attached. Please contact us
for more information or to join.
NEW Stay & play Every Wednesday
Play sessions, with Kayleigh for all ages and their parents/carers. Each week has a focused activity for you and your child to
do together. DROP IN!

Well baby clinic Last Thursday of every month (1st Thursday of the month the clinic is held at Broomhill CC)
Your chance to bring along your baby to be weighed and gain advice from the Health Visitors about general health issues.
The Sanctuary- kinship carers group Thursdays
This targeted group is for family and friends who have informal or temporary care of a child or children, who for some
reason cannot live with their parents. Support, advice & a chance to meet others in the same situation
Baby massage Every Friday
Learn from a qualified midwife how to massage your baby. Please bring a towel and your own oil if you wish, although can be
provided. No need to book but there is a £1 cost for each session you attend.
NEW Let’s get cooking Every Friday
Come and learn how to cook basic healthy and nutritious meals with your children, any age up to 5 years old. Places limited,
please book via reception or Ian.
Dad’s & Children’s Breakfast Club Alternate Saturdays
A session for Dads/male carers and their babies or children, in a male only environment, run by Father’s Worker Ian Sawyer.
Breakfast includes bacon sandwiches! Contact us for the next dates.
The Family Support
