I am a registered nurse with 23 years of experience working in acute patient care and emergency patient care. For the past five years, I have been the Clinical Manager of Berlin Memorial Hospital’s (BMH) Emergency Department. Prior to that, I was the Clinical Manager of BMH’s Intensive Care Unit for eight years. During my tenure as BMH’s Emergency Department Clinical Manager, I was instrumental in certifying our department as a State of Wisconsin Level III Trauma Center. Also during this time, I have brought the level of Emergency Department professional staff to the level of having an all-paramedic trained ED Paramedic Staff with ED RN oversight. My experience / skill sets also include: Berlin Memorial Hospital Liaison for Organ and Tissue Donation, 1999 - Present Provide assistance and support to staff involved with Organ and Tissue Donation in the facility. Produce quarterly death reports in support of State requirements. Berlin Memorial Hospital Nursing / House Supervisor, 1997 - 2005 Charge nurse for day-to-day patient care units’ operation, including staffing issues, coverage of patient care units, and equipment and supplies issues. Clinical Manager – BMH Emergency Department – May, 2005 – Present Management and supervision of Emergency Department Registered Nurse, ED Paramedics, and Clerical / Registration staff of 38.
