Nexus 2000 Glove Box System and Accessories
Glovebox:
Single Sided and Single (2 Port) length. 45" width X 30" deep X 36" height (1143 X
762 X 914 mm), stainless steel construction with removable end panels. Full view LEXAN
front panels, with aluminum glove ports. Standard customer interface penetrations on end panel
opposite antechamber include one (1) 1/2 inch NPT female feedthru and one (1) 3/8 inch NPT
female feedthru. One (1) dual electrical junction box inside of glovebox.
Stand:
Steel construction, supporting glovebox and holding panels with gas purification system,
instrumentation and controls. Stand has height levelers.
Antechamber: 15" dia X 24" long (380 X 610 mm), aluminum, mounted on right end panel
Gas Purification System: Single Purifier with 0-40 CFM blower, manual isolation valves mounted
into stand. 20 liters of O2 and 2.3 Kg of H2O absorption capacity (per mfg. specs.) Can achieve
1-PPM equilibrium in 24 hrs. Includes standard 0.3-micron inlet and outlet filters on
purification system.
Nexus Instrumentation and Control:
Industrial computer that monitors and controls the
complete Nexus system through an easy to use menu driven interface. Operator's four key
keypad and color graphical display, Built in programmed control of purifier regeneration, and
lab pressure. Built in system diagnostics. Manual Antechamber ball valves for evacuation and
refill
Fluorescent Light: 40 watts with reflector, power switch on operators interface panel. One light
over LEXAN window.
Adjustable Shelves: One set of three shelves, 8 inches deep X 24 inches wide (203 X 610 mm).
Glove Port Cover: Protects atmosphere during glove replacement.
Glove Box Purge: Manual 1" Ball Valve

Cold Well: Stainless steel well, 6 ½" I.D. by 7 ½ " deep. DEWAR is filled with LN2 coolant for low
temperature work in glovebox. See System Configuration drawing for standard location. Other
