Abrasive powders may cause eye irritation. Ingestion may cause irritation of mouth & throat, abdominal pain, or nausea.

4. First Aid Measures
Exposure route
Inhalation: Not considered likely.
Skin contact: Wash with soap and water.
Eye contact: Immediately flush with clean water for 15 minutes holding eye open if necessary. If irritation persists or
tissue damage is apparent, seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Give up to one glass of water to drink. Seek medical
attention.
5. Fire-fighting Measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Dry chemical powder. Carbon dioxide. Chemical Foam. Water Spray.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Keep drums cool by spraying with water jet.
6. Accidental release measures
Personal safety precautions: If large volumes are spilled wear protective clothing. See Exposure Control.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter watercourses or drains.
Clean-up procedure: Extinguish all naked flames & sources of ignition. Mop up small spillages. Contain large spillages
with suitable absorbent material, sand or earth. Transfer to suitable container for disposal. Dispose of in accordance with
water authority and waste disposal regulations.
