Two photocopies of (a). all DMCs, Certificates/Degrees of all examinations passed (b). Domicile (c).
four passport-size recent photographs, (d). CNIC of the applicant, father/mother/ guardian, (e).
character certificate from the Institution last attended (f). GRE/GAT result card (valid upto the last date
of form submission), (g). Research Proposal, (h). Two Reference Letters

No Objection Certificate from the parent department if the applicant is in-service.
Note: Undertaking on judicial paper of Rs. 50/- duly attested by oath commissioner/notary public/political
agent/first class magistrate shall be submitted to the concerned department just after the confirmation
of admission as per attached specimen.
IMPORTANT NOTES/INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Note
1.
For admission to MBA (1.5 Year)/, MPhil/MS programmes, the candidate must not have less
than 45% marks in any examination and have passed GAT-General/ equivalent conducted by
NTS with at least 50% score.
2.
For admission to PhD programmes, the candidate must have passed international GRE
(Subject) with minimum 60% percentile score or GAT-Subject (NTS) with minimum 60%
cumulative score.
Instructions
1. Prospectus can be obtained free of cost during working hours from the concerned Department
and Admission Form can be downloaded from the KUST website www.kust.edu.pk
2. Admission Form must be supported by the following documents/attested copies:
 Receipt of application processing fee of Rs.1,000/- deposited in KUST account in HBL KUST
Branch or a Bank Draft of Rs. 1,000/- in favor of Director Finance KUST
 Certificates and degrees of all examinations passed
 Relevant result card of GRE/GAT valid up to the last date of Form submission
 Domicile and National Identity Card
 04 recent passport size photographs
 A research proposal and two reference letters (for PhD only)
3. The in-service candidate must submit Admission Form through proper channel along with
required documents including NOC from the parent department.
4. All information will be displayed on the Notice Board of concerned department/institute and will
be uploaded on KUST website. No separate call-letter will be issued for offer of admission,
interview and fee deposit.
5. Admission Form other than the prescribed one/not duly filled in/not supported by the required
documents/without fee/not received by the due date of form submission shall not be entertained.
6. Original documents shall be presented to the concerned Admission Committee at the time of
interview.
7. The University reserves the rights to withdraw the offer of admission in any program without
assigning any reason.

UNDERTAKING / AGREEMENT

decision of the university authority regarding cancellation of admission/ degree shall be final.
iii.

holding a gathering, meeting or taking any procession in any part of the campus.
iv.
That I shall never use violence, threat and pressure in any dispute with other, all means and methods shall only be
logic, persuasion, petition, appeal, revision, review and other legal peaceful methods for the settlement of
differences and disputes.
v.
Further, I do hereby solemnly undertake to refrain from:
a.
Doing any thing, which may cause injury or insult to faculty member, officer and staff of the university.
b.
Bringing into campus, consuming or encouraging consumption of alcoholic products, drugs and narcotics and
including act(s) of moral turpitude
c.
Bringing or keeping any types of weapons with in the university premises.
d.
Using or occupying room or part of any building with out lawful authorities.
e.
Subletting hostel room or seat to unauthorized person(s).
f.
Damaging any university property including building, equipment, vehicles etc in any manner.
g.
Indulging in any violence or any other unsuitable activities even outside the campus which may bring bad name to
the university.
vi.
I undertake that I will abide by the decision of the authorities in case I am found guilty of indiscipline, defamation,
disrespect of the Teacher / Staff and involved in any anti-Institutional activities.
vii.
I totally accept that if I violate this undertaking then I will be expelled from the university without any further
notice.
