Course procedures: You can expect me to treat you courteously and respectfully, be available
for extra help, be well-prepared for class, hold high expectations for you, return your work in a

participate in class activities, complete assignments, hold high expectations for me, submit work
in a timely manner, be ready to begin class promptly, keep trying, ask for help when you need it,
and have a sense of humor.
Absences: It is your responsibility to get class notes and homework assignments when you
are absent from class. You will, of course, be given additional time to complete your homework
assignment—one extra day for each day absent. If you are absent on the day of a test, you will
take the test on the day you return. Remember, saying “I wasn’t here” is not an excuse.
Extra help: Extra help is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Please make an
appointment a day in advance if you want extra help.
