MUCHEA CATTLE REPORT 3rd November, 2014
Landmark reports that 2584 cattle were sold at Muchea Monday 3rd
November, a decrease of 690 head.
Large numbers of bulls of all descriptions were again yarded and all
values remained fully firm.
The few trade cattle available also maintained recent strong rates.
Fair supplies of local store steers and heifers were penned and keen
bidding saw prices remain firm.
Best quality light pastoral heifers sold to 190ckg in a very buoyant
market.
All classes of cows again met spirited competition to maintain last week’s
quotes in general with odd lines dearer.
