The Blues Central Booking and Management Agency is an all-service booking agency
dedicated to bringing primarily non-commercial music of the highest quality to
southeast Wisconsin and beyond. Booking services available for festivals, parties,
corporate events, taverns, and special events of all kinds .
Greg Koch Trio– Guitarist extraordinaire. Greg tours the world as a clinician for
Fender, also signed to several international record deals, as well as best selling
instructional DVDs and Hal Leonard guitar method books. Guitar styles from Hendrix,
Albert Lee, Jimmy Page, Knofler, twisted originals performed with humor and prowess
by this powerful trio.
Jim Liban Blues Combo-This 3 piece features Milwaukee harp legend Liban with
drummer Jimi Schutte and Kurt Koenig on bass. Traditional blues, always the ultimate
in taste and musical expertise.
The Steve Cohen/Greg Koch Band - Award winning blues harmonica player,
guitarist and singer, fronts this unique 4 or 5 piece band. An eclectic mix of
blues/Americana music from Taj Mahal, Sonny & Brownie, James Hunter, Bonnie Raitt
and twisted originals. Usually features Greg Koch, Jim Liban or other Milwaukee music
luminaries as fifth piece.
Alex Wilson Band - Up and coming young blues guitar slinger with 3 piece band.
Eclectic, electric blues styles from Muddy to Stevie Ray, Doors to Magic Sam
Sue DaBaco and Double Down-A unique 3 piece power trio blues rock /band
Fronted by guitarist and singer Sue, Rocking blues from Cream, Hedrix era, as well as
strong originals..
The Riccos - Bluesman Steve Cohen triples on guitar, harp, and vocals with jazz
organist Joel Freisinger and conga drummer John Ricco. Blues and jazz standards,
originals and obscurities with a decidedly Latin feel.
Steve Cohen Blues Duos -Steve plays acoustic style blues in a duo format with a
number of top notch accompanists: Peter Roller, Jim Liban, Billy Flynn, Steve Arvey,
Greg Koch, Eric Noden and others.
Charles Walker Blues Band-A 5 piece, modern blues and funk band that features
fine sax soloist Charles and hard hitting female vocalist. Tasteful selections that range
from Aretha to Muddy to Ray Charles. Energetic and heartfelt.
The Bel Airs - Tasty roots rock, R &. B, New Orleans, blues and originals played by
the Pruitt brothers of Columbia, MO. and drummer Mike Cherry. Skintight vocal
harmonies, impeccable guitar.
Groovology - A 5 piece horn band with good female vocalist. Ranging from jazz, R&B,
funk touching on many kinds of music ,all presented with taste and excellent
musicianship.
The Five Card Studs - Kitchy Vegas lounge band mock up. Great musicianship and
campy stage presence on songs by Tom Jones, Neil Diamond, Chris Montez etc. as well
as James Bond themes!
Growing Nation - This 9 piece Milwaukee based act delivers a high energy hybrid of many
contemporary black music styles, including Gospel, Hip-Hop, rap, R&B, and jazz.4 piece vocal
group with full band. Offering great original material, tight arrangements, impeccable
execution.
Hank Thomas –Country music in the mold of Hank Williams,4 piece group fronted by steel
guitarist Hank. This group sounds similar to Junior Brown.
Wisconsin Blues Bands-Reverend Raven, Andrew Gelles, Robert Allen Jr. ,Billy Flynn,
Perry Weber, Bryan Lee, Wade Fernanadez and just about any other Wisconsin based blues
group is available through Blues Central.
Latin Jazz Groups-Hard hitting Latin Jazz groups De La Buena, Madisalsa, Chevere, and
Spanglish are all available through Blues Central as well as the big band sounds of The AllStar Super Band.
Folk stylists-Frogwater, Lil Rev and Colin O’brien are all available through Blues Central.
