Just as the prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressure to compromise his faith in a
hostile culture and was constantly confronted by temptations and threats, today’s
believers face similar trials. The book of Daniel shows God in control, absolutely
sovereign, never shaken, and nothing can detour His plan for the ages.
To quote Beth, “I pray you’ll commit to let God take you places you’ve never been.
You will not regret it! I believe this journey will rock your world and thrill your
senses. When you turn the last page, you will know things about history and
prophecy that you might never have anticipated. I make you two promises based on
the authority of the Word of God: you will neither waste your time nor become
bored. This study is a rocket ride with the windows wide open!”

Victory in Spiritual Warfare

Whether we like it or not, there is a war going on around us. God has given women
places on the battlefront. This study will help us to take our place with confidence.
We’ll learn to:
 Understand the strategy of Satan, and how a Christian woman can be
victorious over him
 Actively use the armor of God
 Find strength in prayer and sufficiency in Christ
 Win over emotional, relational, and other strongholds
 Understand each Christian woman’s responsibility, in light of her great wealth
in Christ
War is expensive. It requires money, energy---even lives. The same is true for
spiritual warfare. But to have a part in the ultimate victory---and to hear Jesus say,
“Well done, good and faithful servant”---is worth any hardship we endure in the
battle.

Lord, Give Me a Heart for You (Devotional Study)

Kay Arthur's newest “Lord” devotional book examines the anatomy of a heart for God through
Paul's eyes-what it looks like when lived out in flesh and blood in the daily circumstances of
life.
Throughout Paul's ministry, he wrestled with his weaknesses, struggled with fragile
relationships, and was often weary and discouraged. There are times when we can identify with
Paul's experiences. We can feel overwhelmed by conflicts without and fears within. We yearn
to experience God's wisdom and power and to be a person with the passion to please God.
This 8 week study will take us to passages in 2 Corinthians, Acts, and other portions of
Scripture. These are just some of the topics we will be
studying:
 Comfort in Affliction
 The Judgment Seat of Christ
 Resolving Conflicts
 The Power of Weakness
 Confronting the Enemy
 Adequacy in Christ
Despite the physical, emotional, and spiritual struggles in life, Paul could rest in the God of all
comfort and strength. He could fight the good fight, finish his race, and keep the faith. Now,
through this insightful Bible study, so can you.

Jesus The One and Only

Come join us on Wednesday nights as we get together to study God’s word, share
our experiences and discuss what new revelations God has for us as we journey
through the life of Jesus based on the book of Luke. This fall we will be doing
“Jesus The One and Only, by Beth Moore”. Luke wrote in Chapter 2, verse 19,
“But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart” and we
will follow Luke’s account of Jesus life.
Definition of PONDER 1: to weigh in the mind, 2: to think about : reflect on, 3: to
think or consider especially quietly, soberly, and deeply
We will be doing some “pondering” …. at home as you study, in Large/Small
Group where we will discuss new meanings that are revealed, and in that quiet
moment when your heart is touched as we remember how much Jesus means to us!
We will follow Beth through the hills of Galilee with the Teacher, across the lake
with the Master, and finally, on the road toward the cross with the Savior.
Our objective will be to simply remember how much Jesus loves us!

Letter to the Romans

Paul’s letter to the Roman Christians was written because he desired to visit and
connect with them. Join us as we begin a verse-by-verse study of this letter to the
Roman Christians. In it Paul pens his theological position which lays down the
truths of Christianity for a church living in a society much like today, the twenty
first century. There will be opportunity for questions, clarification and referencing
to other biblical passages. Personal study and application of its teachings to our
daily lives will be encouraged along with sharing personal prayer requests.

Prayer, The Ultimate Conversation

Have you ever considered what it means to talk to God? Not only do we
have the awesome privilege of communicating with Almighty God but we
can also have communion with Him. We can not only speak to Him,
but we can listen to His voice as well. Perhaps there are questions you
desperately need answered or you just need motivation for spending more
time in prayer. In this study we will learn how to listen to God and walk
with Him, how to overcome obstacles in prayer, how to talk to God on
behalf of others, how to win our battles through prayer and how to respond
when it seems our prayers are not answered. If your prayer life is not all
you want it to be, come fellowship, study and pray with us in order to
nurture your passion for prayer. If your prayer life is all it should be, come
and help us learn from you.
